Angel got braces :)

Angel got braces last night! He chose red rubber bands but he promised to get blue or gold next time... I took a couple of pictures of him with his new look and he took a couple of pictures of us in the car while I drove today for our day trip to the movies. Evey - you're missing out, Angel and I are driving everywhere!

Spring Break... lots to do....

So I'm supposedly on spring break yet there is so much on my mind... this is definitely not a vacation.

• I have a midterm coming back to school (which I need to study for)
• I just got a letter from Cal telling me about cap & gown, my diploma frame, class rings, commencement tickets, and about joining the alumni association
• I need to book my flight for Karla's wedding
• I have begun to panic about the economy as it affects me A LOT. Yesterday I went to talk to Brian about the possibility for working for Macy's and even that may be hard to get because of the reorganization Macy's is going through. I applied to a couple of other jobs but none of them are appealing, many of them seem fake or don't require a degree

On the other hand, I got to drive my new car, I took Jon for a drive last weekend. We also booked our hotels for Las Vegas for the weekend after graduation.

I like the weather here though, I can't wait to come back for the summer.
Jon and I have an activity date planned for Saturday... hopefully I can get some pictures :)

I GOT A NEW CAR!!!

My parents bought me a 2009 Toyota Corolla for my graduation last night and I can't wait to see it! At first I was a little turned off by it because I wanted a navy blue car but what the heck, like Jon says "Who cares? It's a new car!!!"

I get to see it and drive it this weekend when I go home and I can't wait. I hate being at home not being able to get places but now I can! And on top of it, "i get the new car smell"... right baby?

I already bought my CAL ALUMNI license plate today and a key chain so that my car can be representing from the get-go :) Today when I called Angel to ask him how he liked the car he was so funny, he said he liked it and sent me 2 videos of it, but when I asked him where he wanted me to drive him to, he said, "the movies," hahahaha, just the movies? Well ok Baby, we'll go to the movies next weekend.

I can't seem to make time go by faster though, I have classes, a midterm on Thursday and multiple errands to run still. But Friday at 3pm, I will be at home, enjoying (hopefully) a home cooked meal without many worries.

Karla's Bridal Shoot

Today was Karla's bridal shoot with Jonathan Canlas. Oh my, was today fun! It wasn't mine nor was I in it, but I felt just as excited. From watching her get her eyebrows done to shopping around for flowers and helping her with small errands, I felt like I was part of it! Aww I love weddings!!! Even though the weather tried to ruin it for us, we made it through and took the photo opp at Cal!!! She looked gorgeous, I can't say it enough. I missed half of it, but it doesn't matter. Seeing her with her precious dress, her adorable shoes, her long veil and that pretty smile made my day! Thank you Karla <3

Can't wait for the wedding...

67 Days Until Graduation

I'm so excited for Graduation. The day I never thought would come is just 67 days away!!! And although I'm ready to move back to LA, there will always be a special place for Berkeley in my heart. Berkeley has given me independence, responsibilities like no other, I learned to cook, manage my money & time, Berkeley introduced me to wonderful people, it brought opportunities to me where I learned to be a leader but most importantly I learned to work with other people and be a follower.

I'll never forget Stern, the wild turkey or late night, Monteros, or the three musketeers. Can't forget Lake Tahoe or LBSA (love you all). I'll always remember the energy at Memorial Stadium for Cal Football games and winning 3/4 big games! But one thing I'll never forget is how all these things came together at a USC vs CAL LBSA football game tailgate when I found love.
